Hawthorn Leisure Centre

Hawthorn Leisure Centre is a council-run sports and fitness facility serving Pontypridd, Rhydyfelin and the surrounding communities.

The centre has a modern gym alongside a varied programme of fitness classes, with sessions ranging from circuits and spin to Pilates, yoga and lower-impact exercise. Indoor courts and sports facilities are available for activities including badminton, five-a-side football, netball, squash and table tennis.

There is also a health suite with sauna facilities, plus rooms that can be hired for meetings, events and children’s parties. Both Leisure for Life members and pay-as-you-go visitors can use many of the facilities.
