YMa Pontypridd

YMa is a busy community and creative venue on Taff Street in the centre of Pontypridd, bringing a mixture of arts, activities, events and practical community spaces together in one building. The centre occupies the redeveloped former Pontypridd YMCA and now provides somewhere for people of different ages to take part in classes, meet others, attend performances or simply spend time in a welcoming town-centre setting.

Its programme changes throughout the year and includes activities such as dance, arts and crafts, fitness sessions, children's groups, workshops and social events. YMa also hosts theatre and live performances, seasonal activities and family events. For organisations and individuals needing space, there are meeting and training rooms as well as larger areas including Shelley Hall and the Moondance Studio, which can be used for performances, rehearsals, conferences and other gatherings.
