Purple Shoots

Purple Shoots is a Pontypridd-based charity supporting people who want to move towards self-employment, develop a business idea or strengthen an existing small enterprise. The organisation works particularly with people who may find it difficult to access traditional business finance or mainstream support.

Alongside small business loans, Purple Shoots provides mentoring, practical guidance and community-based programmes to help people build confidence, develop skills and turn ideas into realistic plans. Support can cover the early stages of starting a business, improving an existing venture or exploring self-employment as a possible route forward.

The organisation also runs Self-Reliant Groups, where people can meet regularly, share ideas, learn from one another and build stronger local networks.
